Mission Statement

We, the members of Glasgow Academical Cricket Club state publicly our commitment to the ongoing progress of the club, to the development of its existing strengths and to its improvement in all areas. In this respect we commit ourselves, over the coming five years, to work towards the achievement of the following targets:

Firstly, that the club will continue to support the development of cricket among younger players by seeking to provide its junior members with the best possible training and with regular competitive experience;

Secondly, that by 2010 the club’s first XI will have established itself as one of the best 30 club cricket sides in Scotland;

Thirdly, that by 2010 the club’s second XI will have established itself in the top division of the Western Union;

Fourthly, that the club will seek to field four senior sides, and to provide members at all levels with the opportunity to play and practice cricket on a regular basis.
