Hi everyone from Sydney, Australia. The big difficulty so far is that the sun has been particularly unobliging until yesterday and the first two matches were both washed out as no results.

Today's match against Paramatta however was played in 80F and we managed to lose all the wheels form the wagon at the same time losing to 257 for 7 and being 130 all out.

There are three matches next week between Tuesday and Thursday and another report will be posted then. Otherwise we have been doing plenty of touring round the Sydney area and the Blue Mountains were very spectacular. Going for a balmy curry tonight.

The Pro shirt is the one we ordered last time and has a black trim. The classic shirts have a silver trim.

Caps

• Blue Baseball Cap (£7)

Cricket Jumpers (Pure Wool)

• Slipover (£37.50)
• Long sleeve Jumper (£41.50)

Both are trimmed in club colours at neck and waist.

Please note the following times and dates for indoor practice sessions in 2005:-

JUNIORS -

Sundays (12.45pm to 3.45pm)

January 9th, 16th, 23rd and 30th; February 6th, 13th and 27th (NOT 20th); March 6th, 13th, 20th (NOT 27th); April 3rd, 10th, 17th and 24th.

There is no charge for junior practice sessions.

SENIORS -

Wednesdays (for times see individual dates below). Any junior over the age of 15 is welcome to come along.

March 16th and 23rd (6pm to 7pm); March 30th (6pm to 8pm)

April 6th, 13th and 20th (6pm to 8pm) with 27th (provisional) at same times.

Senior practice sessions will be charged at the rate of £2 per hour for working adults, £1 per hour for juniors/students and OAP's.

New members both junior and senior will be made very welcome.

So many things to do with so little time left! Junior subscriptions are due for renewal on 1st April for the year to 31st March 2006. As I leave for Australia this Friday (18th March) it will be impossible to get the notices out until my return in mid-April. Please give the requests your urgent attention if receiving by post. Members for whom I have e-mail addresses will have received them before I leave.

You will notice one small addition being a per capita levy of £10 per member - otherwise rates remain unchanged for yet another year. Member subscriptions all go into central Club funds so the Section receives no direct benefit from them; the notices explain in more detail.
